As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with regional customers. You’ll deliver sustainable business growth and meet financial targets with the assigned regional accounts, through winning value propositions and ensuring a professional purchasing experience. In this role, you will leverage commercial excellence and consultative selling fundamentals to successfully deliver customer growth through across all LFE product lines.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and expand relationships with LFE customers, achieving sales goals and assigned corporate account objectives, and develop sales opportunity pipeline.
- Actively collect information to build strategic account plans to grow customer business and overall market share through customer and market insights. Provide monthly and annual plan input to commercial team for assigned accounts, as well as monitor and provide updates to the rolling forecast for the Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Analyze customer profile, business plans, competition status through strategic analytic tools to develop actionable customer plans for short- and long-term growth objectives.
- Drive revenue, deliver expected margin, and ensure continued profitable growth of the LFE product and service portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with LFE sales and product management teams to define and execute the implementation of pricing decisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation within CRM, including customer profiles and meeting minutes, as well as implementing a lead-tracking and follow-up system.
- Provide high level of customer service as a first line technical support, processing lead inquiries, taking action on sample and literature requests
- Assist in the collection of receivables as necessary.
- Work to proactively mitigate problems and resolve supply challenges.
Skills That Make A Difference
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field
- At least 5 years of Account Management in a business-to-business environment
- Professional demeanor, showcased by excellent interpersonal, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, presentation and negotiating skills.
- Strong organizational skills demonstrated by ability to manage and prioritize tasks/projects, completing on time with high quality.
- Strong follow up skills.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Strong collaboration skills
- Self-motivated to drive results while following Lubrizol’s standard and expectations
- Ability to travel as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

- Bilingual
- Experience in New Business Development.
- Experience in Distribution Management
