ACCOUNT MANAGER II

 

Job Overview:

 

The Account Manager generates strategies, develops new business, maintains relationships with customers and is focused on solving problems to increase Lubrizol's market share.

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Identify new business opportunities in existing accounts and prospects and establish, execute and lead the rest of the areas with action plans that allow achieving sales goals.Receive and verify the proper documentation needed for Import Process (Proformas).
  • Establish and execute the strategic plan of the assigned key accounts, aligned with the strategies of the division and the region.
  • Prepare annually sales plans and deliver the results of Sales, Volume, Material Margin and Gross Profit of the portfolio.
  • Responsible for leading and executing commercial, technical and marketing activities focused on increasing sales and improving services.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and distributors with a good schedule of visits and conference calls.
  • Initiate, develop and market projects focusing on value propositions for customers.
  • Support the implementation of new product launches and other related activities to venture into new markets.
  • Provide market intelligence by country and decide if a correct strategy is being carried out or new options need to be explored to increase market share.
  • Responsible for keeping Lubrizol's corporate, regional and local systems commercially updated such as Vendavo, "Account Plans", CRM, "Rolling Forecast", Concur, "Career Essentials", "Call Reports" Commercial Contracts with customers and distributors, which allow other areas within Lubrizol access to timely information in compliance with auditable legal processes.

 

Education / Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Chemical, Industrial or related Engineering.
  • Technical experience in Inks, Paints and Coatings.
  • Previous experience in the field: 3 years.
  • Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint) (required)
  • SAP knowledge (desired)
  • Advance level English language skills (required)
