How You’ll Make an Impact 

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, supporting equipment reliability and operational excellence across the plant. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

In This Role, You Will: 

• Serve as the subject matter expert for equipment failures, repair techniques, and root cause investigations to improve asset reliability. 

• Partner with Maintenance Technologists and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues, develop repair plans, and implement effective solutions. 

• Provide technical guidance on equipment performance, repair requirements, materials of construction, tolerances, and maintenance standards. 

• Support critical equipment repairs by ensuring engineering review and technical oversight are incorporated into work requests and job plans. 

• Develop, document, and continuously improve maintenance procedures, repair methods, and equipment-specific training materials. 

• Support preventive maintenance and spare parts strategies to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency. 

• Collaborate with Reliability Engineers, Planners, and Operations personnel to develop long-term maintenance and asset strategies. 

• Review operational and maintenance feedback to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Provide technical support for turnaround planning, contractor work, and quality assurance of internal and external repairs. 

• Help train maintenance crafts and operations personnel to build technical capability and support safe, reliable plant performance. 

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university. 

• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment systems, maintenance practices, troubleshooting methodologies, and root cause analysis. 

• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, equipment drawings, and technical documentation. 

• Effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams. 

• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward 

• Two or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility, including co-op or internship experience. 

• Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, or turnaround planning activities.
