How You’ll Make an Impact
As SEA Account Manager, Medical Devices, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving Lubrizol’s market position and achieving sustained market leadership in the Medical Components segment of the Medical Devices market in Southeast Asia through value-based selling and strategic account management. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:
Key Activities
- Implement sales strategy through value creation approach to designated direct customers.
- Expand Lubrizol's footprint by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities.
- Strengthen key customer relationships to drive long-term partnerships and share-of-wallet growth.
- Execute disciplined forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to support business.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Provide market information and sales direction on existing/ prospective customers of the SEA region.
- Own and grow revenue from existing and prospective customers within the SEA region by executing aligned sales and account strategies.
- Develop and implement customer-specific value propositions that address current and emerging market needs.
- Build and manage strong relationships with external and internal key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute Customer Interface Strategies (CIS) for strategic and high-value accounts.
- Follow up and handle customer complaints in co-operation with logistics group.
- Capture and translate Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights into actionable growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely commercial reporting, including call reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates and expense reports.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
Industry Experience
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in medical devices, medical components, polymers, or a related B2B industry.
- Strong background in professional sales, key account management, and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth through value selling, strategic negotiations, and customer relationship management.
Technical Skills
- Sound business analysis and financial skills.
Relevant Soft Skills
- Strategic thinking, good listening and communication skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good command of English in written and oral communication.
- Flexible and adaptable to handle uncertainly inherent to dynamic business conditions
