ACCOUNTABILITY

This role is accountable for commercial activities in territories, including managing customers, accounts and distributors, developing profitable new business opportunities and ensuring projects commercialization conversion rate in South East of Asia countries.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement account plans that well aligned with business strategy for customers in existing marketing segments;
  • Prepare Customer Impact Statements for responsible customers and maintain the plan;
  • Grow and manage the business for assigned accounts and territories;
  • Grow & manage distributors and key accounts, build exceptional customer relationship.
  • Support growth initiatives and introduction of new products for the business;
  • Develop, negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements;
  • Manage local agent representation as a support role in joint sales calls, also provide direction, training, competitive information and general market knowledge;
  • To establish and maintain relationship with key processors, and any other key players in the identified market segments, and assist marketing manager for the development of these segments;
  • Timely communicate key issues with stakeholders within Engineered Polymers organization;
  • Handle administrative requirements, such as call reports, sales forecasting and expense reports, timely and accurately;
  • Actively participate in trade shows, conferences and regional meetings;

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related major, MBA is a plus;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experiences in chemistry industry, polymer industry is preferred;
  • Rich experience in distributor management;
  • Strong in building customer intimacy and communication skills;
  • Sound business analytics and financial skills;
  • In-depth understanding in value selling with proven records;
  • Good strategic planning skills;
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable to handle uncertainly inherent to dynamic business conditions.
  • Able to travel with minimum 50% of time.
