ACCOUNTABILITY:

5. Continuously improve instrument reliability through problem Solving to reduce equipment downtime and repeated failure.
6. Modify and optimize I/DCS/PLC to support MA new product development and process improvement.
7. Manage DCS, safety instrument and interlock, ensure all calibration and test compliance with HSES requirement and keep in good condition

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Do root cause analysis (RCA) for the failure of instrument and DCS/PLC system, to find root cause and make corrective/preventive action plan through implementing problem solving tools, like 5-whys, FTA, fish-bone diagram etc.
  • Work with operation team to modify instrument and DCS/PLC to meeting the requirement of new products development and customer application.
  • Work with process engineer and vendor to prepare related DCS document, configuration and FAT, SAT.
  • Manage software and hardware of DCS/PLC system, include routine maintenance, program modification, upgrade, backup/recovery, anti-virus etc.
  • Make sure all interlock and instrument calibration and test compliance with GB and cooperation HSES requirement.
  • Build and optimize maintenance system of instrument and DCS/PLC in SAP, include PM/PdM, spare part etc.
  • Purchase and optimize spar part of instrument and DCS/PLC, to avoid long downtime because of lacking spare part.
  • Optimize instrument and DCS/PLC spare part to reduce spare part inventory and NWSM.
  • Support maintenance manager to make annual maintenance budget. Trace and manage related maintenance expense to ensure within budget.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance technician and contractor, to improve their knowledge and problem-solving skill.
  • Provide technical support to plant project, include design, installation, and commissioning, especially for DCS system.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

• Education Background:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in instrument, automation, or related majors
  • Fluent in English, can communicate with foreign colleagues both written and oral.
  • At least 6 years’ working experience, foreign venture experience is preferred.
  • 5 years’ instrument and DCS/PLC maintenance experience in chemical plant.

• Technical Skills:
  • Familiar with field instrument, DCS or PLC Programming ability
  • Have rich experience and skill of DCS/PLC maintenance, can solve complicated problem.
  • Be familiar with API, GB related standard and regulation.
  • Have strong trouble shooting and problem-solving capability, familiar with analysis tool like 5-why, RCA, fish-bone diagram, A3, FMEA etc.
  • Good communication capability and skill,

• Other Experiences Preferred:
  • Familiar with SIS system
  • Has project experience
