What You'll Do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for driving business growth and expanding market share in the field of immersion cooling technologies for compute systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in the rapidly evolving data center industry. In this role, you will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape in the data center industry.
    • Develop and execute strategies to target and acquire new customers for immersion cooling solutions.
    • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend new business ventures.
  • Build strategic partnerships
    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, data center operators, and technology providers.
    • Collaborate with partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies and drive revenue growth.
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Drive revenue growth
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for immersion cooling products and services.
    • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and convert leads into sales.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions and marketing materials.
  • Provide technical expertise
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in immersion cooling technologies and their application in compute systems.
    • Provide technical expertise to customers and partners, addressing their needs and requirements.
    • Collaborate with the product development team to provide input on product enhancements and roadmap.
  • Create and manage key relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers in the data center industry.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's immersion cooling solutions.
    • Function as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their cooling challenges and providing appropriate solutions.


Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience as a high-performing Business Development Manager or a similar role, preferably in the data center or cooling industry.
  • Strong understanding of immersion cooling technologies and their application in compute systems.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
  • Initiative-taking and results oriented.
