Lubrizol Life Science Health has an exciting opportunity for a pharmaceutical scientist position at its Brecksville (Ohio) location. The person will work with the local team and collaborate with global Lubrizol Life Science Health technical organization.

Responsibilities:

Lead pharmaceutical formulation/applications projects in the area of dosage forms development and drug delivery systems for global markets

Plan formulation projects, design and conduct experiments, analyze results

Maintain accurate records of experiments, results and conclusions

Provide projects updates through issuance of technical reports and presentations for internal and external use

Use expertise and knowledge to promote Lubrizol technologies to accelerate product development

Develop and expand pharmaceutical and nutraceutical competencies and capabilities

Conduct work within Lubrizol laboratories, in compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics or related field, with minimum three years of relevant experience in formulation and testing of dosage forms, and design of active delivery systems

Proficiency in design, formulation and testing of various pharmaceutical dosage forms and active delivery systems, as demonstrated through scientific publications, presentations and reports

Knowledge of drug development process and global regulatory requirements

Excellent verbal and writing communication skills

Highly motivated toward achievements, well organized and results oriented

Considered a plus:  experience in analytical and bioanalytical method development, materials characterization.
