Job Description

 

The Lubrizol Corporation is looking for highly motivated Electrical Engineering students to start in our Electrical Engineering Co-op Program in the Spring and Summer 2023 semesters. The Avon Lake Electrical Engineering team supports all electrical equipment for the Avon Lake Plant, including power, controls, safety, design, maintenance, and operation. As an Electrical Engineering Co-op you will have the opportunity to learn and understand electrical equipment and systems, collaborate with engineers of other disciplines across the plant in installations and troubleshooting, manage projects, and create documentation.

Who are we looking for?

  • Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Ability to complete three co-op work terms (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving experience with lateral thinking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks under minimal supervision and work as a part of a team
  • Interest in working hands on in the field of systems used in production and pilot buildings 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
