Role Overview:

As the EMEAI Regional Security Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and advising on the security strategy for Lubrizol's sites in the EMEAI region. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal security standards, providing support for security systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance physical site security.

This hybrid role can be based in one of the European countries we are active in: Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, UK or Spain. You will have to work on one of our sites with the possibility to combine with remote work. Some travel will also be past of this role as you will have to visit the different sites depending on the need and plan.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Advise sites on optimizing existing systems, access management, and alarms.
  • Deploy Lubrizol's comprehensive security strategy across all EMEAI sites, covering various aspects.
  • Coordinate and provide training to local security contacts at the sites.
  • Assist in developing site security plans and analyzing security incidents in the region.
  • Implement improvement actions.
  • Support the deployment and utilization of standard Security systems.
  • Identify integration needs for security systems following Lubrizol Corp. standards.
  • Assess deployment needs for security technology and coordinate necessary additions/modifications.
  • Assist sites in addressing local technical issues and managing access badge programs.
  • Establish performance evaluation programs for sites and define improvement plans.
  • Support compliance with Responsible Care Code for security and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.

 

Required Competencies and Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 y relevant experience in a similar role in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE,  Security and Security Management Systems and international standards in a corporate setting.
  • Proven project management skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in English; additional fluency in Spanish, French, German or Dutch is a plus.
  • Demonstrates precision, discretion, and confidentiality in work.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Thrives in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
