Supply Chain Manager North LATAM
Accountability
This job role is accountable to lead the Lubrizol Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Lubrizol North Latam region, providing the most adequate Supply Chain services, at the right and competitive costs, to support the business' profitable grow strategies. It's the accountability of this role to keep the right, trained and talented people in our team, guaranteeing that all our actions and efforts to provide the best service level to our customers will be done following strictly the Code of Ethics, the Safety Standards, the Lubrizol´s Cultural Beliefs and fully committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities
• Drive continuous improvement in process and capabilities in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (COE); identify and implement enhancements aligned with process maturity goals.
• Responsible for the coordination, monitoring and progress of all customer orders to ensure the punctual delivery of products through the development and maintenance of processes / systems to ensure that the levels of customer service are met.
• Maximize asset profitability by improving service levels and reducing service costs.
• Direct site capacity planning to ensure proper supply of products to support sales.
• Lead the sales and operations planning process (S&OP), with each business in North Latam region.
• Develop supply chain solutions for customers to better meet business needs.
• Support operations with analysis to identify operational trends and short-term capacity planning.
• Work with product management to understand events that may affect product demand.
• In collaboration with product management, establish the supply chain for new product launches.
• Manage inventory and maintain acceptable inventory levels, meeting financial and business goals.
• Support reduction of non-working slow moving (NWSM) inventory by identifying opportunities to influence demand and working capital optimization.
• Work with purchasing to establish suppliers of secondary sources for all major components.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and finished products to maintain a stable operation and on time of delivery.
• Measure performance, report to established performance indicators and implement programs and/or processes to improve results.
• Accountable to keep the right, trained and talented people in each position, being responsible to guide and support their individual development plan.
Education/Skills
- Graduation: Engineering, Business Administration, Foreign Trade or Logistics (advanced degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 10 years in areas of supply chain, operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role position.
- Microsoft Office, SAP and BI tools are required knowledge (BOBJ , Power BI and Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus)
- Ability to identify and develop opportunities that will have the greatest strategic impact.
- Business knowledge: Strong working knowledge of cross-functional interactions, touchpoints and hand-offs within a global business environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level view of demand, supply and strategic planning.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate, influence, empower and develop others to drive results.
- Collaboration: Ability to establish and develop productive working relationships across Lubrizol.
- Communication: Strength to deliver clear, concise, and compelling messages to stakeholders at different levels in the organization to drive clarity and effective decision making.
CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA
- APICS CPIM / CSCP certified
- Financial acumen
