Here at Lubrizol, we are looking to recruit a Regulatory Specialist for the Product Safety & Compliance Department (PSCD).  The successful candidate will be somebody who is committed to perform at the highest standard of safety and operational excellence.  The PSC Department is responsible for ensuring that Lubrizol is compliant with chemical regulations and interacts with stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, industry associations, customers, Operations, HSE personnel, R&D, IS and commercial teams.

Reports to:                  EMEAI Product Compliance Manager

 

Specific Tasks:

  • Preparation and submission of chemical substance registration dossiers for REACH and UK REACH
  • Review and submission of chemical mixture poison centre notifications
  • Submission and maintenance of notifications to C&L inventories
  • Assessment and resolution of order management alerts and blocks in the Substance Volume Tracking in S4-SAP system
  • Provide support to maintain up-to-date product safety data in our S4-SAP system to ensure the highest level of compliance and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with the Global PSCD team on relevant projects to support overall departmental goals and objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product regulatory compliance, hazard communication or product stewardship in the chemical/petrochemical/Life Science industries.
  • Experience in the preparation and submission of chemical substance registration dossiers, Poison Centre Notification dossiers, Notifications to Classification & Labelling
  • Experience in the registration of biocidal products and application for authorisation of substance in Annex XIV of REACH would be advantageous
  • Masters degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Toxicology or EHS related field
  • Excellent oral / written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and results driven  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Experience in corporate ERP business systems, such as SAP-EHS would be advantageous
  • Experience of capturing, interpreting and manipulating data and databases would be advantageous
