What You'll Do:

 

You manage a team of individuals supporting the global Indirect Procurement Organization. Along with their team, they are responsible for analyzing data from various sources to support Indirect Procurement efforts such as cost reduction, price management, compliance, category management, bid execution, and supplier management. You will be accountable for specific projects related to key Indirect Procurement performance indicators and metrics. You will partner with global Procurement management, business stakeholders, finance, sourcing managers, and others to support and leverage various initiatives and objectives.

  • Manage a global team of Indirect analysts.
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting with the ability to adapt to changes while delivering expected results on time.
  • Manage and lead analytical and project support for cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data results published by the team.
  • Define project requirements with stakeholders such as scope, objectives, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion by the team.
  • Effectively communicate project related updates and present solutions to project sponsors and Procurement leadership.
  • Successfully manage multiple projects and managerial tasks simultaneously.
  • Diligently prioritize the team’s work while keeping in mind importance, value creation, global reach, and time commitment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Train and coach team members, including Performance and Career Management.
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing processes. Ensure best practices are established and utilized globally.
  • Ability to work effectively in multifunctional, global teams.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a technical degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
  • Experience in managing people.
  • Understanding of negotiation strategy, competitive bid process, source selection, and freight terms.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences.
  • Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and imperfect data in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills – defining scope, developing a plan, and timely execution.
  • Demonstrated success working with data analytics and visualization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing projects within resource constraints.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint.

 

Considered A Plus:                           

 

  • Strong SAP, BOBJ, or Ariba knowledge.
