Role Accountability

The Video Editor supports Lubrizol by delivering a high level of editing capability as part of our service offer in the creative team across all Lubrizol global businesses. This role is responsible for working with internal and external creative resources to ensure that projects are edited correctly and professionally and provide the highest quality video communications for Lubrizol. The position can be based anywhere in the United States where Lubrizol operates.

Required Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (film/photography bias) or related experience in a related role

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a video editor

 

Skills & Systems:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe products/industry appropriate applications including editing software                                       
  • Advanced experience working with cameras and supporting equipment
  • Advanced experience working with video and supporting equipment
  • Advanced experience working with sound edit and graphics to enhance video
  • Advanced experience working within photography studios
  • Advanced experience working on location
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Proven Communication and presentation skills when interacting with clients
  • Budget experience
  • Must be willing to travel on a regular basis within North America and globally on a limited basis

 

Work Environment

Role Scope:

  • Opportunity to extend the post through video capture and location filming

Travel:

  • Mainly regional but potential for global

Work Hours:

  • Flexible working environment Monday – Friday 8am-4pm minimum

Physical Demands:

  • Limited lifting and mainly desk based
