Senior Business Process Analyst, Transportation Management and Logistics Services (Wickliffe, OH) wanted by The Lubrizol Corporation, a produce and market specialty advanced chemicals for consumer and industrial application company. 




  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with key business stakeholders, Business Process Leaders, the Centers of Excellence, external business partners and end-users.  A proven ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
  • Investigate and resolve daily TM and logistics break-fix operational issues including communicating and working with users, other OTC support team members, other SAP process support teams, ABAP technical resources, Master Data and Finance.
  • Work with users and key stakeholders to clearly define business requirements and convert requirements into technical specifications.
  • Act as main design and support authority for the TM and Logistics Support Services Team in collaboration with Business stakeholders and leaders.  Ensure the quality of all software changes.
  • Monitor and resolve EDI interface issues with outside warehouses, freight forwarders, rail provider, and freight carriers.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve TM and Delivery batch job issues.
  • Resolve key TM and Logistics integration points and issues between other SAP process areas to ensure they are properly addressed.
  • Author and maintain complete documentation regarding the TM application – including data definitions, configuration design, functional specifications, and interface details.
  • Communicate and work with SAP to resolve ERP issues.
  • Develop and execute against a roadmap for the TM and Logistics process areas, ensuring it reflects current and future business needs, that it is aligned with future development (solution road map) of the software and that it is aligned with industry and SAP “best practices”.  
  • Act as main project lead for enhancement projects on the roadmap following standard project methodology.  Ensure the project team designs and implements business solutions to reach project objectives and goals.
  • Pursue educational and development opportunities to remain current in new and emerging IS technologies, especially in the TM and Logistics areas.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field 
  • 8 years’ industry experience working with SAP supply chain/logistics module
  • 3 years’ Supervisory experience managing an international team
  • 5 years’ industry Operations experience with SAP ECC 6.0
  • 3 years of Experience in Logistics Execution and its integration with related modules (for example Global Trade Compliance (GTS) processes, Regulatory Safety and Compliance (RSC) processes, Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP).
  • 5 years’ experience in at least 3 end-to-end TM implementations from overseeing business requirements gathering, to system design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, support, and upgrades of software packages. At least one TM implementation experience in S4 Embedded TM (version 1709 or above).
  • 5 years’ experience in a wide variety of TM skills in TM Planning off various modes (Truck, Bulk, Rail, Ocean, Air, Parcel), Optimizer, Scheduling, Charge Management and Settlement, Tendering, Process Controller, Condition Technique etc.
  • 3 years’ industry experience with xml mapping, setup and troubleshooting of EDI interfaces
  • 5 years’ industry experience and a high degree of functional and technical knowledge of the integration and relationship between TM and Logistics Execution (LE) and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes
