Procurement Intern 

Full-Time Summer 2024 / Part-Time Remote Fall 2024 & Spring 2025

Summer Term Based out of Wickliffe, OH

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and interpret analytical reports using SAP, Excel, and other internal tools.
• Support cross-functional and cross-organizational sourcing initiatives and strategies.
• Assist in identifying potential areas for cost reduction and vendor harmonization.
• Improve Operational Excellence by tracking and reporting key processes and metrics to management.
• Work with departments outside of Procurement such as Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics to complete cross-functional tasks.
• Run analyses to check compliance for key Procurement policies and procedures.
• Partner with global colleagues to standardize practices and run various analyses.
• Opportunity to work with Indirect Procurement to develop data, execute, and manage sourcing events in Ariba.
• Utilize project management skills to execute multiple project tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• This internship spans May 2024 - May 2025. Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer of 2024 and part-time remote (10-20 hours per week) during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date on or after Spring 2024.  We are considering the following majors: Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Math/Statistics, and some Technical majors.
• Rising seniors with GPA at or above 3.0 will be given priority consideration, but we will also consider rising juniors and sophmores.
• Ability to integrate business acumen with technical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and imperfect data.
