Lubrizol is currently looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our growing Payroll team. In this role, you would be responsible for conducting bi-weekly payroll, focusing on accuracy and timeliness. You would also be providing a high level of customer service to stakeholders, identifying areas to improve processes, and collaborating across the HR Shared Services organization. This role would be based at our Global Headquarters in Wickliffe, OH, following a hybrid working model. 

 

What you will do:  

  • Enter, review, and verify the accuracy of employee data in both SAP and the ADP Payroll system
  • Reconcile payroll deductions
  • Reconcile bi-weekly pay
  • Understand how payroll reports and registers tie together
  • Perform audits during the payroll process
  • Research and resolve payroll and payroll related tax issues
  • Perform quarterly reconciliations
  • Report writing utilizing systems such as ADP-Reporting
  • Provide support to the Payroll Team Lead and other Payroll team members on a variety of projects
  • Miscellaneous duties as requested

 

What you need: 

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPP or equivalent payroll experience
  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • Proactive individual who is a self-starter and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with others
  • Team Player, ability to interact and work well with people at all levels of the organization
  • Well organized, flexible, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Accurate and detailed oriented
  • Strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

 

What will put you ahead:  

  • Experience with SAP, ADP EV-5 and ADP E-Time, ServiceNow systems
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Reporting experience
