Product Safety and Compliance Data Specialist



Provide daily support for management of regulatory data and filings required to maintain compliance with global chemical control laws. This resource will focus on data gathering, data entry, document preparation and filings in support of our entire Product Safety and Compliance team.



  • Manage regulatory data within SAP and SAP EHS
  • Update and maintain internal databases with key data and documents related to product compliance and hazard communication activities
  • Assist the Product Compliance team by maintaining food contact compliance data
  • Run SAP reports and submit TSCA 12b letters
  • Manage and file annual biocide state renewals
  • Assist in the input and updating of information and documents to internal SharePoint sites for access and use by stakeholders (PSCD, program managers, product stewards)   
  • Captures, records, and organizes product compliance and hazard communication related information received from suppliers and customers including raw material information, declarations of compliance, and regulatory summaries
  • Assist with management of contracts with consultants, test labs and other product regulatory service providers
  • Assist with record retention activities including the capturing of meta data, preparing document summaries, scanning, and storing of documents
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Reports to Americas Regional Manager of Product Safety and Compliance
  • Cross-functional position having regular communications with the global Product Safety and Compliance team. IS, supply chain, R&D, and operations
  • Professional judgment required to maintain complex regulatory data while meeting corporate ethical and legal conduct guidelines
  • Empowered to protect confidential business information from disclosure to third parties without proper justification and protection.



  • A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative, legal operations analyst/specialist or data management role in a corporation or law firm
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and appropriately manage priorities for self and global organization
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with computer relational databases and common business-related computer software programs
  • Experience of capturing, interpreting, and manipulating data and databases
