As an Instrumentation Technician in Lubrizol Additives Mechanical Testing Department, you will be accountable for successful operation of testing equipment that demonstrate product performance and differentiation. The testing equipment ranges from full scale engines, drive train, and pump rigs to novel rigs in support of thermal management fluids and immersion cooling.
A successful candidate will:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, modify, and install/construct instrumentation equipment and controls
- Provide technical input regarding design, installation, repair, and safe operation of equipment and systems
- Work closely with Data Acquisition and Control, Project Engineering, and Fabrication teams to drive standardization initiatives, new technologies, processes and practices that will help improve lab efficiency and effectiveness

- Willingness to work after hours when needed and selected holidays as part of scheduled call-in rotation
To be successful, we are looking for a candidate who has:
- Associate Degree, or enrolled and >50% complete, in accredited Electronic Technology Program; some consideration for related field of study, or equivalent military education
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic/pneumatic equipment and controls, advanced analytical and laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with computers, software, computerized control systems and interfacing instrument control systems.
- Instrumentation metrology and calibration experience
