Lubrizol is currently looking for an innovative Business Process Analyst, focusing on Plan to Manufacture (QAD). In this role, you will develop and maintain process documentation, identify and implement process improvements, and identify opportunities for improved process and policies. This role can be located anywhere in the United States, in a remote or hybrid working model.

 

What you will do

  • Proactively advise on improving / re-engineering business Processes in close cooperation with the business in their day-to-day activities.
  • Work with users to define business requirements and converting those requirements into technical specifications.
  • Update and maintain documentation regarding the application, its interfaces, and data definitions.
  • Propose the most efficient and effective use of processes and systems.
  • Encourage and implement the use of common business processes and systems.
  • Represent the IS organization with process and technical skills by playing an active role in projects following the standard project methodology.
  • Ensure the quality of software/hardware changes and additions.
  • Guide users in creating, testing, and implementing procedures.
  • Understand and solve interfacing needs between QAD ERP and the other systems.
  • Work as a cross-functional team member across technologies, geographies and IS groups.
  • Educate colleagues at Lubrizol on QAD ERP and related concepts.
  • Continue to learn and pursue educational opportunities to remain current in emerging technologies and concepts.

 

What you need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Information Solutions, Business, Finance, or closely related field.
  • 3 years’ experience supporting a QAD ERP environment.  Knowledge must include configuration.
  • Experience with many of the Plan to Manufacture business processes such as Inventory Management, Production Planning, Physical Inventory, Cycle Count, Quality Management and Warehouse Management.
  • At least 1 full lifecycle implementation covering multiple Finance modules and
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies (i.e. waterfall, Agile).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) with advanced skill level.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills that translate to high-level problem-solving abilities
  • Must be flexible, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • International mindset. Willing to travel 15 -25% of the time.
