Explore Lubrizol’s 2021 Human Resources Internship

 

Lubrizol Human Resources (HR) is engaged in a multi-year HR Transformation project.  The HR Transformation project will enable changes to the HR division’s structure, work processes and technology on a global, regional and country level and provide the foundation to achieve world-class HR performance.  To support this project’s success, the HR Transformation Team is seeking an HR Intern who enjoys hands-on learning opportunities that support multiple HR groups (i.e., HR Technology, Learning & Development, HR Operations, HR Communications, etc.) and is motivated by detailed, fast-paced work.

 

This is a remote opportunity in any location that Lubrizol currently operates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Leadership Team (HRLT) as a part of the HR Transformation Team to drive the transformation of the global HR function to achieve world-class performance
  • Partner with the HR Organizational Design workstream to support the creation of HR job descriptions, role profiles and job postings
  • Assist in designing presentations, training materials and communications related to the implementation of an HR service delivery software implementation
  • Act as an additional member of the HR Transformation Team to support project management/planning efforts and efforts to redesign HR processes
  • Coordinate scheduling of and attend various HR Transformation project-related meetings to better understand the project’s objectives, progress and value for Lubrizol’s HR division
  • Work on additional assignments and projects based on your skills, experience and interests

 

Required Skills/Education

  • Able to work full-time during the summer of 2021 (40 hours per week)
  • Currently enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program focused on human resources, communications/journalism, business administration or other relevant field with an accredited university entering their junior or senior year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to lead decisively by being timely and self-motivated with the ability to pick up new concepts
  • Ability to think external by fostering curiosity to learn and explore new ideas in an HR capacity
