The HR Intern will work with the Corporate HR team that is responsible for supporting Lubrizol’s 5 Corporate divisions: Finance, Legal & Corporate Responsibility, Information Solutions, Corporate Ventures and Human Resources. Primary duties will focus on supporting the HR Director and Sr. HR Managers with special projects in the areas of culture and inclusion, talent management and organizational alignment.

 

This role can work remote from any location Lubrizol currently operates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze information related to various HR projects
  • Attend meetings with business leaders to learn the Lubrizol business and identify employee/manager needs
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to update / create job descriptions and position questionnaires
  • Participate in candidate interviews for entry-level positions
  • Assist with the population of data and reporting of SAP Success Factors modules
  • Learn about the talent management cycle and support talent review needs
  • Answer routine HR questions for employees and managers
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Students with a GPA at or above 3.0 will be given priority consideration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, ability to pick up on new projects and software
  • Curiosity to learn new concepts and work on new projects in an HR capacity
