Job Summary:
Provides support for assigned issues and inquiries for all North America (NA) Leveraged Services Benefits and Leave Administration solutions. Acts as the main contact for HR customer inquiries and manages the resolution of all initial support requests. Responsible for accurately routing inquiries as appropriate and working with NA LS Total Rewards Specialists and the Benefits Manager to resolve issues that require escalation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Log requests and inquiries and work with employees/managers to resolve. Resolves all assigned HR issues and inquiries via phone, email, chat, etc., on time and within established policies, procedures and performance criteria for delivering services
- Maintain and complete updates as needed to the HR Knowledge Base and FAQs
- Interact with and direct relevant NA regional Total Rewards vendors and third parties in day to day delivery of services, including but not limited to:
- Preparation for benefits enrollment
- Notification of parties of employee terminations or other career and life changes
- Provision of initial escalation support for benefit claims and appeals inquires/questions escalated from 3rd party
- Interact with and direct relevant NA third party leave administrator in day-to-day delivery of services, including but not limited to:
- Leave inquiries and requests for additional information
- Provision of initial escalation support for leave claims and inquires/questions escalated from 3rd party
- Focus on assisting and advising employees with the management of disability, leave of absence (continuous or intermittent), return to work, and extended medical leave programs including:
- Partnering with disability/leave of absence vendor and acting as a liaison between the vendor and employees for service-related issues as needed
- Responding to employee, manager, vendor, and internal or external requests
- Provide day-to-day operational support on leave management processes, policies and procedures
- Review and monitor NA leave of absence status for short term disability, long term disability and company leaves, including:
- Requesting HR system updates for initiation of short term disability, long term disability and other company leaves
- Collaborating with internal contacts to resolve issues and provide direction
- Investigating unapproved leaves and communicating pay-related changes as needed
- Reporting anomalies to NA Leveraged Services Total Rewards Specialist
Education, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business administration or similar (HR major preferred) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience in HR
- Experience in benefits and/or leave administration (preferred)
- Experience in a shared services environment (preferred)
