Summary
Lubrizol is embarking on the next phase of our digital transformation as we move our HCM (Human Capital Management system) to the cloud. With best-in-class systems and tools, we are looking for our next HR Technology leader to incorporate their vision into the plan not just for HR, but for the businesses and functions which rely on people data to support company strategy.
The Director, HR Technology & Workforce Analytics, is responsible for the vision, implementation, integration, support, optimization, and governance of Lubrizol’s global and regional HR technology in addition to establishing meaningful workforce analytics. This position engages with stakeholders across our global locations and partners closely with Lubrizol IT, vendors, the global HR organization, and our employee users to ensure a seamless digital employee experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop the global and regional HR Technology roadmap to enable solutions and facilitate the development of requirements for preparing the organization for using new / improved systems. Partner with the IT organization to align strategies, resources, plans and timelines.
- Manage system integrations with internal resources (IT) and external vendors.
- Partner with the HR Leadership Team to establish, design, and implement the technology, data and analytics reporting requirements and associated solutions which align HR to the Lubrizol business strategy.
- Build resource and project plans for cloud-based HCM integration and other HR technology projects, identifying cross-team staffing requirements, external resources, budget, and other investments necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead on solutions which positively benefit employees with their digital interaction with HR.
- Accountable for HR system training (to HR and global employees). Lead / guide change management to develop clear guidelines and controls for the use and adoption of solutions.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of leading practices and trends to inform the use and improvement of solutions.
- Account for country legal requirements in establishing system and data strategies, data privacy, system security and record retention. Stay abreast of industry best practice, data privacy laws and regulatory change and implement findings as needed. Maintain Lubrizol’s compliance with Data Privacy Laws, coordinate global activities for compliance with Legal and other key stakeholders, and support compliance with new country / region / global data privacy requirements, CCPA, GDPR, etc.
- Provide mentorship and development to HR Technology team members to drive deepening and broadening of system knowledge and experience.

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or business-related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a business technology department, with at least 5 years’ experience with HR systems.
- Experience as a lead or work stream lead on at least one prior cloud based HCM implementation.
- Experience managing internal and external service providers.
- Project / program management experience related to the implementation and optimization of new HR applications.
- Experience and demonstrated capability managing HR data analytics and reporting requests.
- Broad understanding of core HR processes and practices.
- Management of change experience to measure implementation goals are working as designed.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must have the executive presence to represent the HR function in internal and external leadership forums.
- Capability to work both strategically and hands-on to deliver results leading major change and transformation initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
