Are you an International Business, International Law or Supply Chain student looking for a unique and exciting internship opportunity?  The Lubrizol Corporation Global Trade Compliance internship is available for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in supervised training that will provide hands-on practical training in trade compliance.   You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to tools and procedures to effectively manage requirements of import, export and trade agreements and other global trade regulations to support a $7B business. You will have the opportunity to work closely with expert team members that have professional trade certifications as well as valuable exposure and networking opportunities.  Under limited supervision, this position will work both independently and as a member of a team who:




Responsible to assist Compliance Analyst and Compliance Project Manager in areas of Export Compliance related to denied party screening and end user declaration; Free Trade Agreements and Trade Security programs.    



  • Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems.
  • Assists in preparing training documentation and computer based training courses
  • Assists in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepares reports to support department using either EXCEL or SAP BOBJ
  • Denied party screening assistance
  • Assists in country, product and regulatory related research

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications


  • College student with International Business, International Law or Supply Chain focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple  activities
  • Communication, verbal and written
  • Collaboration


Considered A Plus

  • Chemistry background
  • SAP knowledge
