Lubrizol is looking for a Business Process Leader of Supply and Demand Management to provide global support for the design and support reliable and efficient global business processes for the operations organization.  This is an exciting time to join our organization, as we have a renewed focus on ensuring operational excellence and cyber security within the organization – given this, we’re looking for a motivated problem solver who enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment to support growth and development in these areas. This role can be based out of any US Lubrizol manufacturing facility following a hybrid working model.

 

What you will do:

  • With a global view, lead the organization to the best end-to-end production Planning and Scheduling process practices by identifying areas for improvement (business inefficiencies, process governance issues, process gaps, etc.)
  • Communicate production planning and scheduling process improvement strategy, goals, benefits and successes.
  • Translate business strategies and requirements into process requirements for determining the appropriate solutions and functional and technical design
  • Be familiar with chemical industry use cases, business processes, vendors, IT landscapes and architecture associated with the Production planning and scheduling processes
  • Continue to learn and pursue educational opportunities to remain current in emerging production planning and scheduling processes, technologies and concepts.
  • Lead the development of business cases to articulate how the value of the improvement opportunity aligns with business vision, strategy and desired outcomes.
  • Manage daily “How To” and “Why” questions
  • Interface with other key processes (like Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report), colleagues and other impacted Stakeholders to support cross regional and cross business alignment
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain COE GPO to facilitate and participate in roadmap development, prioritization and portfolio management for process improvements 

 

What you need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in SAP supply and demand planning experience (i.e., S&OP, supply and demand management, product allocation, production scheduling, capacity planning, back-order processing, etc.) with at least one end-to-end implementation
  • SAP S4 HANA functional and technical experience
  • SAP ECC functional and technical experience
  • Proficient in end-to-end process design/development and integration with cross-functional areas of SAP and processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, EH&S, Quality Management and Global Trade Services
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills that translate to high-level problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
  • Must be flexible, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
  • International mindset – must be able to deal with a diverse, international team
  • Willing to travel on a project basis – up to 30% per year. Including potential extended periods of time away from home.
