Lubrizol is looking for a Business Process Analyst, SAP Order Management and Billing Process Services. In this role, you would be a member of the Order to Cash (OTC) Process Services Support Team and be responsible for delivery of SAP order management and billing (SD) support services. You would be tasked with  translating business requirements into IS solutions to satisfy business needs – in break-fix, short-term enhancement, and longer-term project activities.  This role must leverage advanced business and SAP knowledge to perform the required analysis, evaluation, testing, documentation, implementation, and support to successfully satisfy business needs. This position can be based anywhere in the US where Lubrizol operates, following a hybrid working model. 


What you will do:

  • Investigate and resolve daily SAP Order Management and Billing break-fix issues including communicating and working with other OTC support team members, ABAP technical resources, other SAP process support teams and end users.
  • Following prescribed business processes, design, configure, test, deploy and support enhancements to SAP ECC and S/4 HANA Order Management and Billing landscapes along with any bolt-on applications.
  • Work with users and key stakeholders to clearly define business requirements and convert requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the quality of software changes by thorough testing and complete documentation including data definitions, configuration design, functional specifications, and interface details.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with SAP process support team members, Center of Excellence members, Business/Global Process Leaders and other business stakeholders.
  • Pursue training and educational opportunities to be knowledgeable in new and emerging IS technologies.


What you need:

  • SAP Sales and Distribution expertise: SAP Sales and Distribution Master Data, processing of all order and billing types including ATP, Order and Billing-related Outputs, reports and batch jobs.
  • Experience with Intercompany processes, EDI and eCommerce partners and processes
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to troubleshoot and diagnose medium to complex issues; the ability to organize and coordinate with business and technical teams to assess current processes, propose options to change existing system functionalities and successfully deliver the solution
  • Operations experience with SAP S/4 HANA v2020
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience and a high degree of functional and technical knowledge of the integration and relationship between SD and one or more of the following areas: SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and outputs (including Transportation Management {TM}), Global Trade processes and outputs, Regulatory Safety and Compliance processes, Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP)
  • 7+ years relevant SAP Experience (ECC and/or S4 Hana); at least 6 years of supply chain/logistics experience preferably in the Chemicals or Industrial Manufacturing industries


What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementations from business requirements gathering, to system design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, support and upgrades of software packages
  • Proven experience in prioritizing and managing multiple work assignments in parallel and meeting deadlines
  • Operations experience with SAP ECC 6.0
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle work with a diverse, global team
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience
