Internal Job Description.

Duties:

Apply analytical skills and knowledge performing tests characterizing Lubrizol products.

Operate lab equipment and instruments with minimal supervision.
Collect data, assist in interpreting results and provide recommendations and conclusions.
Communicate progress and results to staff, sponsors and customers.
Capture research project work in written reports.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, supporting Lubrizol environmental and safety policies.
Full time (40 hours / minimum of 12 weeks) during Summer 2018

 

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in chemistry from an accredited college or university.

Must have taken Organic Chemistry I and lab (Organic Chemistry II and lab preferred).
Minimum 2 years of chemistry course and lab work.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated organization and planning skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
