Summary of the Role:

The Purpose of this role is expected to ensure tax compliances without violating indirect tax laws provisions and support all the Indirect tax activities related to GST of LZAI India.  

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

• Ensure tax compliance are made in timely manner by Filling of all GST Returns: Monthly and Annual for all Registrations.
• Adherence to compliance to ensure zero violations of law by timely payment of accurate GST liability and Recovery (Vendor Control) - ensuring compliance like ITC reversal on invoices unpaid for 180 days and re-credit on payment, write off of goods to avoid any interest or penalty liabilities.
• Mandatory Monthly Reconciliation of GSTR 2A with Purchase Register of Company as well as reconciliation between Purchase and Sales Register with GST Records / Reports to claim and protect valuable inward gst set off passed on by vendor on all purchases within stipulated time prescribed by GST law ( help in cashflow ).
• Be proactive to keep himself updated with GST and indirect tax changes and informed to the stakeholders to obtain maximum benefits availble to the company. In addition to this maintain all GST & Indirect Tax related records properly for scrutiny and assessment for all locations.
• To comply with provisions and other indirect taxes like Customs, DGFT  ( Foreign Trade Policy ) including support in ST and indirect taxes LITIGATION.  Monthly Reconciliation of GSTR 2B as uploaded by Vendors with Company’s Purchase register.
• Accounting of GST Input & Output tax related entries in SAP.
• Coordination with Auditors for providing information as required for various audits.
• Support during any GST Audit and Assessments.
• Promptly read all the GST related changes and intimate to the supervisor if this change impacts operations of the company.

Requirements (education, experience, competencies, and specific job requirements):

• Commerce Graduate (M.Com or MBA )
• Experience manufacturing Industry is must
• Previous work experience of 10 years
• Up to date with respect to GST regulations
