      ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

Capture Japanese transportation OEMs’ mid-long term strategy, including their needs and pains to grow inside and outside of Japan.

Engage with strategic Japanese OEMs in transportation industry to maintain and manage our relationship with the said OEM not only to defend Lubrizol’s current business but also to explore new opportunities.

Develop and lead Lubrizol’s growth strategy for Japanese OEMs, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Establish strong partnerships with strategic OEMs in Japan transportation industry.
  • Engage with the strategic OEMs and tier suppliers, build and execute on aligned strategies with the product management teams to defend our current business while exploring new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute Lubrizol’s growth strategy for Japanese OEMs and Tier1s in transportation industry.
  • Generate insights and lead our advocacy efforts. Assess market potential and identify new areas which represent potential opportunity for Lubrizol’s growth.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

 

Education Background:

  • Graduate in a technical or business-related discipline. Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or MBA Preferred.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant business, product, or OEM management experience
  • Preferably have knowledge / experience / expertise in fluid business, direct working experience with Japanese OEMs or Tier1 suppliers in transportation industry.

 

Other Experiences Preferred:

  • Strong critical, strategic and positive thinker
  • Think External. Effective communicator with external audiences in Japanese transportation industry with the ability to build trusting relationship. Deep dive into them to capture their real needs and pains by direct and effective interaction.  
  • Have an open mind and be able to learn new technology / business model / concepts as well as have global perspective.
  • Strong self-motivator to achieve business goals.
  • Have strong commercial acumen and product management skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment. Experience.
  • Effective presentation skills to convince external and internal stakeholders to implement business strategy.
  • Give positive influence on people without formal authority.
  • Able to travel frequently.
