ROLE:

  • Responsible for lubricant additives finished goods planning and inventory control, which includes direct materials imported from Lubrizol affiliates / third party suppliers, to meet the business requirements.
  • Responsible for lubricant additives China products demand management to meet the forecast accuracy KPI
  • Responsible for lubricant additives reporting & NWSM follow up

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lubricant additives finish goods planner

  • Work out and adjust finished goods stock replenishment plan for related distribution centers basing forecast and real demand.  Communicate any potential stock shortages to commercial& customer experience team for further action plan. Support allocation if needed.
  • Issue purchase orders for direct materials and follow-up on the delivery schedule.  Coordinate related function to resolve any issues relating to invoice, pricing, packaging, mis-shipment, short shipment, and any matters concerning to the order.
  • Timely feedback customer orders status through Z-block change in SAP system.
  • Closely monitor NWSM and special stock, work with related function to reduce the dead inventory level.

 

Demand management

  • Develop and maintain the demand forecast models for lubricant additives, with close work and gather information from sales, segment and finance.
  • Draft future demand forecast in 12M by monthly base
  • Conduct monthly demand review meeting with sales, pre-align the demand base on the risk and opportunities input from sales
  • Close tracking NPI and PLS list
  • Continues improve the results of demand forecast accuracy

 

Reporting & NWSM follow up

  • Responsible for lubricant additives planning monthly report, include but not limited on inventory report, sales/forecast report, shortage pre-alert report, additional cost analysis
  • Work as lubricant additives NWSM coordinator, coordinate related function for action plan, to make sure NWSM KPI meet target

 

REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

1. Education:

  • Bachelor degree or above

 

2. Experience:        

  • At least 5 years supply chain experiences in multinational companies, such as production planning, inventory control, logistics management, etc
  • Experience in Chemical or related industry is preferred  

      

3. Knowledge, technical/professional skill:

  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Good analysis skills
  • Teamwork and meet tight deadliness under pressure
  • Self-motivated and results driven

 

4. Language Skill:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written)
