  • Provide people, organizational, and cultural insights enabling the management of Engineered Materials (EM) business, Product Safety & Compliance department (PSCD) and Information Solutions (IS) in Asia Pacific to make sound people & organizational decisions
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of people & organizational capability in the above-mentioned business and functions.




  • Be the strategic HR partner of EM, PSCD, and IS in Asia Pacific to develop HR strategies in meeting business needs;
  • Closely partner with business and functions supporting and ensuring that HR strategies and plans are translated into concrete actions and tangible results;
  • Focus on the areas of organization development and people development; provide diagnose input to align with company-wide HR strategies and initiatives;
  • Work with line leaders in building and monitoring employee development & retention efforts, including performance and career management, talent review, succession planning, and retention program, etc.;
  • Work with line leaders on organization design, and headcount planning;
  • Calibrate with country HR share services team, regional COEs, and global HR partners to ensure deliverables in HR core processes like recruitment, PCM, compensation budgeting cycle, annual salary planning, and any customized HR work based on business needs;
  • Participate in the development of HR strategies, policies, and processes to support long term company objectives in Asia Pacific





Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree of Science or Engineering;
  • Minimum of 8 years human resources experience in a MNC environment;
  • Rich experience in talent acquisition, in particular HR recruiter;
  • Working knowledge of other human resource disciplines including compensation & benefits, learning & development, performance management, employee relations, etc.;
  • Preferable to have experience in Chemical industry or Pharmaceutical industry, or related industries in FMCG;

  • Demonstrated strong curiosity & ability of understanding the business;
  • Proven ability of building strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization;
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Able to drive changes, with continuous improvement mentality;
  • Creative, and forward thinker;
  • Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Good command of verbal and written Mandarin Chinese and English
