Offer test services to the business segments to deliver competitive advantages of products to support business growth
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for planning and execution of day-to-day field trial projects, including components evaluation, photography, data logging and data analysis;
Develop specific test solutions to fulfill the needs from business units;
Locate and establish relationship with test sites to match testing needs;
Preserve good relationships with fleets, suppliers and all stakeholders;
Maintain the Field Test Management System (FTMS) with all relevant data;
Coordinate the collection and analysis of used oil samples and operational data, and resolve problems with data as it occurs;
Leverage trends in data to shape solutions and generate ideas;
Suggest and implement improvement actions with a proactive and creative approach;
Develop fleet documentation required to start and run field trials;
Review project progress on a regular basis;
Provide clear, concise and timely reports reviewing the pertinent details, status and results of test activities;
Offer vehicle hardware and engineering consultancy to business units for problem solving and faults diagnosis;
Partner with colleagues at other global Testing Division locations, striving for consistency in processes and resource sharing when practical;
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Automotive or Mechanical/Electronic Engineering is preferred;
3 to 5 years of vehicle engineering related working experience is preferred;
Strong hands-on capability
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin;
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Matlab or R;STAT and data analysis capability is preferred
Detail-oriented ang good personal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of field test personnel
