The CPI Sales Manager is responsible for leading the China CPI sales team to execute the overall China CPI Strategy and achieve an aggressive growth target in the coming years. As the leader of the CPI sales team, define the customer strategy and build longer term partnership with the key global and regional customers, as well as optimize the distributor system. For dedicated and adjunct team members, provide the necessary coaching, feedback and career development.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Lead China team to execute CPI business strategy and gain alignment with global team.
  • Lead China team to achieve the tangible growth target in coming years
  • Develop the strategy and business plan for key global and regional accounts. Build and strengthen the partnership with key strategic target customers in China. Continue to optimize distributor system to improve the efficiency and better use LZ resources.
  • Feedback the relevant competitive intelligence and market insights and work with team to continuously keep the competitive advantages for LZ CPI in the market. Assess market potential and identify the new areas which represent potential opportunity for Lubrizol’s growth
  • Work with PMG and Tech team to develop a clear Value Proposition that are well recognized by key strategic customers
  • Accountable for providing the necessary coaching, feedback and career development. Push the team to utilize the proper process and tool like CRM and improve the commercial & operational excellence.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate in a technical or business-related discipline. Master degree in Chem, Chem E, Mech E or MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant business, marketing, sales management experience. Ideally have Refrigeration and Industrial Compressor lubricants related experience/background.
  • Have strong commercial acumen and sales management skill
  • Strong self-motivator to achieve the business goals
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with both internal and external audiences with the ability to build relationships and effectively implement.
  • Open mind and quick learner for new technology/business model/concept as well as global perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment as well as team leadership/people management
  • Able to travel frequently
