China Industrial Business Development Manager

 

The Industrial Business Development Manager will own the responsibility to explore and identify new areas and new markets for Industrial additive products in China. This person will also ensure our new solutions are aligned with the needs of key OEMs and target customers to deliver customer value and support aggressive growth. The Business Development Manager will ensure the suitability of the product offering to achieve the company’s business results through continuing innovation and optimization of the portfolio.  This person will communicate and execute the market strategy with internal and external customers and stakeholders (OEMs).

 

 

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Lead business relationship development with key Industrial OEMs to help us build a leading technology position and to explore growth opportunities
  • Lead and develop business plan by generating insights and leading our advocacy efforts in new market spaces/area.
  • Demonstrate leadership and influence by communicating and executing the business plan with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of Lubrizol Industrial products and technology in order to engage with target OEMs and key customers to develop the new business plan
  • Lead or participate in New Product Development teams, and provide market insight and analytical support
  • Analyze market trends and predict business impact, and convert market changes into opportunities for growth
  • Develop and publish promotional material (electronic and traditional)
  • Create resource and budget plan to support key technology development and OEM/Customer engagement
  • Accountable for target OEM business relationships, growth of new products and generating new business opportunities to meet our finance targets

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate in a technical or business-related discipline. Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant business, product, or OEM management experience
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with both internal and external audiences with the ability to build relationships and effectively implement.
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking
  • Open mind and quick learner for new technology/business model/concept as well as global perspective
  • Have strong commercial acumen and product management skill
  • Strong self-motivator to achieve the business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment as well as team leadership
  • Able to travel frequently
