This role is to develop and maintain effective and service oriented relationships with targeted customers to develop profitable business.  He/she needs to work with internal and external teams to provide valued products and services to customers including distributors, and achieve sustainable sales results.





Daily Sales Activities

  • Be equipped and updated with products and technical knowledge
  • Actively collect information about customer business and the overall market, understand & discover customer needs;
  • Use company system and tools to record and update customers profile, demand rolling forecast, customer calls and opportunity progress;
  • Coordinate with internal business groups and functions (technology, product management, supply chain etc.) to provide high quality technical and logistic services;
  • Assist in the collection of receivables as necessary;
  • Problem preventing and solving.
  • Build credits internally and externally.


Account Management

  • Build up customer and market insights.
  • Analyze customer profile, business plans, competition status and SWOT, to develop strategic customer plan for short and long run;
  • Proactively approach customers with the mind of “Challenging Status Quo”, to define customer needs, Lubrizol value propositions and scope cooperative initiatives;
  • Align sales objectives with internal stakeholders, coordinate and lead the internal efforts to deliver results;
  • Build trust and retain long-term relationship with key customer contacts.


REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):


  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in chemistry, mechanical / automotive engineering or related field;
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Experiences in commercial is preferable;
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong sense of ownership;
  • Self-driving and result oriented;
  • Good team player and self-learner;
  • Well organized and principled;
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks on time with high quality;
  • Positive and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese;
  • Proficiency with MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Able to travel frequently.
