Production Coordinator LZAM 1

Summary

Coordinate the execution of production programs by analyzing and recommending the development of techniques and equipment, providing technical support, and promoting continuous improvements in the manufacturing process. Increase capacity and productivity while ensuring safety and optimal use of processes. Implement projects in compliance with scope, cost, schedule, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate industrial team activities related to production planning and control, maintenance, quality control, and manufacturing operations.
• Lead the development and implementation of action plans to achieve plant goals, including technology transfer, best practices, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that appropriate systems are in place to initiate, modify, review, and communicate manufacturing specifications in accordance with customer requirements and plant capacity.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements in plant performance to optimize production volume, productivity, and quality, aligned with business needs.
• Ensure that appropriate procedures are established to maintain manufacturing process integrity and effective management of process changes.
• Review manufacturing processes and procedures to improve product quality consistency and reduce non-conformities. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Critically analyze production area performance, ensuring operational efficiency, availability, and reliability.
• Participate in meetings to discuss work progress and adherence to established production schedules.
• Promote team training to ensure personnel are adequately qualified for their operational activities and maintain appropriate training records.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of continuous improvement processes.
• Monitor and track team performance in production activities.
• Ensure on-time fulfillment of production deliveries.

Qualification / Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Production Engineering. Postgraduate degree or specialization is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Languages & Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); Advanced English; Spanish is desirable.
• Systems: Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
