Summary of the Role:

The Purpose of this role is to lead and/or support for product costing, CAPEX tracking, cost optimization projects, Plant budgeting, audits and month closure activities.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

• Responsible for Product costing along with performing various costing process in SAP for Manufacturing operations.
• Responsible to setup costing process for upcoming manufacturing in line with Global costing process and to customize the process as per local needs.
• Support Site Manager on various cost optimization projects.
• Work with Finance partner and Commercial team to build business case by providing inputs from costing perspective.
• Track Plant CAPEX for upcoming manufacturing facility and provide insights for new CAPEX request.
• Support to Site Manager during preparation of Budgeting process and providing various reports including Variance report against plan and prior year, product cost, tracking of KPI etc.
• Performing inventory valuations under Indian and US GAAP.
• Responsible to lead on monthly closure activity from costing perspective.
• Independently manage the cost Audit for the manufacturing facility.

         Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

• Bachelor of commerce with ICWA (Cost accountant) OR Chartered Accountant (C.A.) with 8 to 10 years of Experience.

• Prior experience in manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.
• Previously worked in SAP environment and proficiency in MS Excel
