Mission:

To be responsible for the day-to-day accounting, in order to meet the business and legal financial reporting requirements.

Accountability

• To complete, within the set deadlines, the monthly financial Lubrizol reporting to USA, including:
  • Coordination of monthly closing process
  • Preparation and recording of all general ledger transactions, more particularly payroll accounting.
  • Validation/review of the financial statements based on trend analysis and account reconciliations before reporting to the HQ.
  • Preparation of Disclosure and Tax Packages for the Quarterly reporting to USA.
• To control documentation in conjunction with SOX requirements, to ensure SOX compliance, perform SOX key controls and efficiently interact with and assist internal auditors during SOX testing.
• To ensure appropriate account reconciliations, coordinate the preparation work for the periodic balance sheet reviews and ensure zero inter-company account differences for all companies concerned.

Expertise / Knowledge / Skills

• To bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and proven accounting experience of 3 to 5 years, preferably in an international environment.
• Ability to work under time constraints, handle multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP/Ekon is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and spoken command of English, knowledge of other European languages is a strong asset.
