The Shipper Receiver Material Handler II is responsible for assisting with the delivery, trafficking and staging of any materials required in the manufacturing environment to produce or aid in the production and shipment of finished product. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the transfer of components, chemicals and finished products to and from all areas needing materials, assisting the Shipping/Receiving department with loading and unloading transportation trucks and staging materials in designated areas, as required.


Essential Job Functions:


Load and unload raw materials and finished product.
Inspect and verify incoming parts versus items ordered and compare to packing lists.  Note discrepancies and alert purchasing and supervisor of any discrepancies or issues with receipts.
Distribute checked packages to appropriate departments.
Post information into SAP computer system.
Pack finished product according to sales order and turn into Logistics Coordinator for processing.
Pull and coordinate orders to be shipped using Standard / Approved Lubrizol Carriers
Package and label containers following approved methods and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, print shipping labels as needed.
Load trucks with items for shipment.
Keep current with required transportation related regulatory training.
Adhere to documented standard operating procedures and processes.
Verify shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness to ensure proper materials are staged and loaded for transfer per customer specifications.
Use equipment/materials properly; observing safety, cGMP and security procedures. Report potentially unsafe conditions to the supervisor or manager.
Support continuous improvement efforts.
Perform daily housekeeping in the warehouse to ensure a safe, clean work environment.
Operate forklift as required in a safe manner.
Perform other duties as assigned, including providing coverage for other positions as needed such as other MH-Shipper/Receivers and possibly the Logistics Coordinator when the MH-Shipper/Receiver III isn’t avaialble.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Physical Requirements:


High School Diploma/GED.
Must have 2-4 years warehouse/shipping experience.
Must have a professional attitude and be detailed oriented as well as reliable.
Must have excellent work habits, including willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Flexible to change and possess a high degree level of integrity and “can do attitude”.
Must have strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Computer literate; must be proficient with SAP, email, internet, and interoffice communication devices.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
Must be able to frequently:

Bend over – 10%
Squat – 5%
Walk - 40%
Stand - 40%
Reach above head – 5%
