Summary of Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Operator is responsbile for creating botanical mixtures in concentrated form as directed by production batch tickets. Responsibilities include verification of ingredients, facilitation of manufacturing processes and completion of production documentation.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for pre-weigh and compounding of raw materials.
  • Obtain secondary verification of pre-weigh to ensure materials are correct and complete for the product.
  • Complete accurate reporting batch record documentation, enter into system and submit micro/samples to quality control.
  • Adhere to documented operating procedures and general facility processes.
  • Observe safety, cGMP and security procedures; report potentially unsafe confition and use equipment and materials properly.
  • Record batch information on production tags or other documentation.
  • Completion and accuracy in reporting batch record documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to eliminate potential material/product contamination.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies (gloves, cheesecloth, bottles, etc).
  • Perform end of shift cleaning duties (equipment, floors, etc.).
  • Document and tag production equipment with status (i.e. cleaned, to be cleaned).
  • Operate forklift as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Physical Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • More than 1 year general manufacturing experience.
  • Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, and be detailed oriented as well as reliable.
  • Must have excellent work habits, including willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in english, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (25 kilos).
  • Repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement. 
  • Must be able to frequently:
    • Bend over – 10%
    • Squat – 5%
    • Walk - 40%
    • Stand - 40%
    • Reach above head – 5%
