This role will lead the marketing function and collaborate with the Zone 5 (Southeast Asia & Australia) Product Management Group (PMG) team to deliver market research & insights and advocacy to support our strategic intent for the region.




  • Work closely with PMG to deliver market research & insights and execute marketing strategy in support of our strategic intent for the region:
    • Analyses data and information to make forecasts of anticipated market trends
    • Identification of new market and differentiation opportunities by analyzing sales and consumer insights
    • Leads and executes Consumer Research and Market Research plan for the region
    • Identify and evaluate research proposals and prepare recommendations based on scope of the research
    • Create insight deck based on the research findings for presenting to business (Sales and PMG)
    • Prepares the Regional Marketing Strategy in line with Business Plans and Strategy
    • Custodian of Regional Marketing Budget and ensure the spends are aligned with PMG product line strategy and business plans
  • Collaborate with PMG and lead the product marketing efforts for the region:
    • Develop and update promotional and marketing collateral to highlight and differentiate products
    • Lead execution of Marketing activity calendar to support product launches and refresh campaigns in line with PMG strategy
  • Collaborate with PMG to deliver market messaging and advocacy:
    • Execute Market Messaging plans for the region - articles on LZA360.com, conference presentations
    • Represent Lubrizol at key conferences, seminars and at customers
  • Lead Customer Marketing projects in the region
    • Work with sales and the customer marketing teams to help them devise winning marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate regional marketing initiatives with internal PMG/Sales/OEM groups and global marketing groups.





  • Education Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferable with an MBA
  • Technical Skills:
    • Good commercial acumen and value selling experience would be advantageous
    • Preferable to have product management experience
    • Able to travel internationally and domestically (30%)
    • Good presentation and communication skills
    • Proactive and good team player
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese;
    • Proficiency with MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Other Experiences Preferred:
    • Proven 6-8 years sales & marketing experience in MNC
    • B2C or FMCG background would be plus
