The SCCM Engineer (m/f/d) will be responsible for providing design, deploying, configuring and support of desktop technologies in a distributed environment. The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations and servers. The SCCM Engineer and will provide administration support for software package development and configuration management and will research and evaluate software and hardware technologies.


The position can be located in the UK, Belgium or Germany with an option for remote working.


Essential Job Functions


  • Working knowledge and hands on experience with SCCM Current Branch
  • Auditing of hardware/software inventory
  • Recommending and implementing policies and standards and ensuring adherence to security procedures
  • Responsible for writing and maintaining procedural and design documentation
  • Analyze, optimize, and integrate applications and services
  • Provide expertise for numerous core Microsoft systems & enterprise infrastructure technologies
  • Provide pro-active reporting on patch and application compliance.
  • Engage and implement security patch schedule-based updates.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field, or documented equivalent experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience automating processes through scripting using VBScript and/or PowerShell
  • Extensive knowledge and/or prior experience with standard software package and patch deployment and creation of ADRs through SCCM
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory; including replication, Group Policy and DNS
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating system patching, enterprise class Server & Desktop hardware and software such as Windows 10, Server 2019, and antivirus. Remote management and troubleshooting, Asset management and inventory
