Global Sales Manager

Hazelwood, Derbyshire

 

Lubrizol are looking to recruit a Global Sales Manager to join the Sales team.  In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the creation of the environment between Lubrizol and the Global Customer such that Lubrizol can provide winning value propositions to the customer and thereby grow the market, business and Lubrizol's share of the market at the customer.

 

The Global Sales Manager contributes by executing opportunities themselves and through a team that contribute to Lubrizol's growth objectives. This is achieved through the global teams and resources who in turn will use market insights and presenting the business needs of the customer back to Lubrizol.

 

Accountabilities: -10

  • To develop and manage relationships with global customers providing guidance so that we can understand their business and develop and market appropriate products and solutions.
  • Lead the development of the global Account business plan relating to the customer
  • Responsible for overall delivery of the Account business plan to agreed metrics
  • May manage product development projects locally with approved funding from business segments
  • Maintain good understanding of the industry, markets and competitive activity to effectively manage accounts and provide information to other Lubrizol departments

 

To be successful you will have: -

  • 5 years of commercial experience – must include Global or Regional account management experience, may include time in a non-sales commercial or related technical role.
  • Technical background or knowledge.
  • Commercial background important when making decisions and recommendations with credibility
