We are currently searching for a Project Engineer (m./f./d.) Product Development for Medical Devices to join our BMT team in Gilching, Bavaria.


Essential Functions: 

  • Developing technical solutions for new medical devices and further development of existing products, taking into account regulatory requirements and customer specifications, as well as manufacturing and commercial aspects
  • Organization and communication of project activities between internal project teams as well as with customers and cooperation partners.  
  • Preparation of technical product documentation (design history file) according to internal specifications, guidelines, applicable standards and customer requirements. 
  • Collaborate with QM department to meet FDA and CE requirements related to design, risk assessment, product testing and validation. 
  • Plan, execute and coordinate design verifications, process validations and design transfers. 
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of minimally invasive medical devices. 
  • Develop and present project proposals to clients, including costing, schedule, and services to be provided.

 

Skills, Qualifications, Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in plastics engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Experience working on product development projects preferred; however, motivated university graduates are also suitable for this position  
  • Experience in project management desirable, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Team player with a results-oriented approach to work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for learning
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
