The Pricing Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing new business opportunities for the Franklin site to 1) determine alignment with current manufacturing capabilities, 2) to determine manufacturing costs and 3) to provide pricing proposals to win new business. The Pricing Analyst also serves as the primary point of contact between the plant and the sales team for pricing analysis and annual price lists. This role is expected to work closely with the Project Engineering team and Regional Sales managers to develop proposals for win/win solutions between Lubrizol and its customer base.



  • Review requests for quotation from Silicone customer base to determine fit with current or strategic capabilities.
  • Establish costing analysis and propose pricing to support efforts to win new business. 
  • Ensure that all process costs are captured and that proper margin is applied
  • Review change requests from customers to determine if there is an impact on cost
  • Work with tooling vendors to identify tooling options which meet customer financial requirements and Lubrizol manufacturing requirements.
  • Work with Project Engineering team to provide updated costing/pricing for projects as scope of work changes.
  • Support Supply Chain team in selecting third party providers for components
  • Support sales team in developing pricing strategies to meet customer price targets.
  • Understand and follow the SOP’s pertaining to the specific area.
  • Understand and follow the Work Instructions pertaining to the specific area.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Observe and promote Company standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity
  • Communicate with industry suppliers to stay informed of new manufacturing trends, capabilities and alternatives.
  • Provide input to customers on design for manufacturability with new product development efforts.
  • Work with operations team to understand capacity planning and assist in Vesta’s efforts to maximize asset utilization.
  • Operate Vesta machinery as necessary to support product development and manufacturing activities.




HIRING GUIDELINES: (To perform job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required/preferred).

  • Successful completion of four-years of high school, or equivalent, plus completion of four years of college with a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in business or engineering. MBA preferred
  • Basic experience with CAD (or similar design software) and reviewing 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to read product specification drawings, read/understand quality documents, business agreements, raw material data sheets, chemical compositions, 3D drawings, equipment manuals, quality protocols and product specifications.
  • Previous experience in silicone manufacturing (strongly preferred).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with significant exposure to a fast-paced environment (preferred)
  • Finished medical device company experience (preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing (preferred)

Vesta is located in Franklin WI, a growing community of 35,000 people that is located in the Southeastern portion of Wisconsin, approximately 15 miles south of Milwaukee, WI and about 60 miles north of Chicago, Il.  The Southeastern portion of Wisconsin is bordered on the east by Lake Michigan, a Great Lake that has fantastic fishing and boating opportunities.  The City of Milwaukee is a diverse community with many ethnic festivals that occur almost every weekend from June until September.  Starting with the last week in June until the second weekend in July, the Henry Maier Festival Park, hosts Summerfest, one of the largest outdoor music festivals, highlighted by the Marcus Amphitheater, which hosts Main Stage concerts every evening.  Milwaukee is also the home to Harley Davidson, the Harley Museum and Harley Davidson Bike fest every 5 years.  If you are into professional sports, Milwaukee is home to the Milwaukee Brewers, who play at Miller Park, the Milwaukee Bucks  who are building a new area and the Green Bay Packers are within 2 hours driving distance from Milwaukee.
