Duties/Responsibilities

Supporting different production units in the plant by operating, maintaining, and rebuilding of:

• Large Gearboxes and Agitators
• Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pumps
• Blowers
• Vacuum Pumps
• Conveyors
• Dryers

Proficiency in:

• General Troubleshooting of Rotating Equipment
• Laser Alignment
• Mechanical Seal Installations
• Seal Pot Design and Operation
• Lubrication Principles
• Machinist skills in the following areas: lathe operator, mill, drill press, grinding
• Willingness to take maintenance callouts
• Self-motivated to safely produce high volume of work with excellent quality
• Normal work schedule - 4/10’s Monday through Thursday
• Foster a safety-first culture by actively making safety observations and correcting unsafe behaviors
• Foster a culture of teamwork
• Other duties as assigned

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, special Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Millwright
• Prior experience in chemical plant environment
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through
• Ability to handle multiple tasks to accomplish the overall goal

Considered A Plus

• Working knowledge of milling machine, lathe, and balancing equipment
• SAP
• Microsoft Office
