If so, consider joining Lubrizol Life Science Beauty and Home (part of The Lubrizol Corporation – a Berkshire Hathaway Company) as a Regional Sales Manager based in the West Coast Region.   

 

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will wear two hats. First, as a leader you will oversee, coach, and develop a team of account managers based in the Northeast and Second, as an account manager you will be responsible for managing some customers within this territory.

 

The candidate will balance top line revenue growth with long term profitability by:

 

  • Leading, directing and developing a team of account managers
  • In partnership with the NA Sales Manager, setting sales objectives for each member of your team as well as the region as a whole
  • Developing and implementing the territory’s growth strategy, sharing competitive insights, and gaining new opportunities
  • Managing relationships at your assigned customers, sharing application guidance and providing technical assistance  with help from a support team, to grow the business
  • Establishing and building sustainable, collaborative business relationships both internally and externally 
  • Ensuring superior customer service and best-in-class fulfillment of customers’ needs
  • Understanding market trends, customers’ strategies, and competitive landscape

 

Candidate Profile

  • Motivated/Driven for results
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Positive, Persistent, Resilient
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a people leadership role
  • At least six (6)years of experience in a commercial, customer facing position, preferably in the Beauty or Home Care market
  • Willing and able to travel 50% of the time.
  • Technical background in the relevant markets covered by the Beauty and Home business
  • Demonstrated successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and/or value selling programs.
