We’re looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented business leader to advance our residential CPVC plumbing business, Flowguard Gold®. This role is responsible for establishing sales and business strategies that will increase market share and margin for the segment.  


This position will be located in Brecksville, Ohio with travel to customers and stakeholders required on a regular basis (up to 30%). The role does allow for flexible work arrangements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns the development and execution of a 5-year business strategy with P&L responsibility
  • Proposes, develops, and implements marketing plans
  • Leads brand management, product promotion initiatives and analyzes market and customer needs and other selling support for market segment across the United States and Canada
  • Assess market challenges and growth potentials, marketing strategies, product placement strategies and leadership of specific initiatives that will result in sustained profitable growth
  • Delivers financial results in line with short and long-term targets 
  • Develops a deep market understanding of assigned market sub-segments and works closely with sales, account management and customers to identify innovation projects and growth opportunities
  • Understands market trends in a proactive manner by understanding the customers’ needs and business needs
  • Identifies and analyzes target markets through value and opportunity analysis; takes ownership to develop target markets
  • Identify gaps in our current capabilities and develop action plans to address them. 
  • Works closely with the marketing communications group to assist with the management of the product brand, along with development of the communications strategy and collateral
  • Identifies, generates and captures incremental value from both new and existing solutions
  • Manages pricing, rebate and customer acquisition strategy to ensure profitable growth
  • Identifies key customers and establishes strong, collaborative relationships


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams and building relationships with key and difficult stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategies that drive bottom-line results
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or other sales or technical fields


What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Building Products and/or Plumbing industry experience, specifically in the residential segment
  • Prior experience in marketing, sales, or business development, including experience with market analysis and positioning strategy.
  • Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, competitive analysis, definition of value proposition, marketing positioning, and financial modeling.
