Customer Assistance Representatives are responsible for supporting domestic and international sample order requests and processing these orders through SAP, as well as working with 3rd party warehouses and manufacturing sites to expedite and fulfill orders.



  • Efficiently enter domestic and international sample order requests from customers and sales team members
  • Manage new sample product code set-up and initial order quantities in conjunction with Product Manager
  • Address trade compliance and/or freight related issues with sample shipments
  • Replenish sample inventory at 3rd party warehouses in alignment with safety stock strategy
  • Proactively communicate with sales and customers on sample shipments
  • Perform receiving/write off activities for incoming inventory at 3rd party warehouse
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support paid orders shipping from 3rd party warehouse
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline business processes and standardized reports
  • Manage current and back orders and communicate with 3rd Party warehouses to expedite as needed
  • Build collaborative relationships with business partners and provide a singular response to sample inquiries


Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in customer service or sales support
  • Experience with SAP/CRM
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with a strong focus on the customer
  • Effective communication skills
  • Computer literacy and analytical skills (e.g., Excel)
  • Detail Oriented



  • MBA
  • Project Management experience
  • HS&E knowledge
